Meet Narelle

Meet Narelle - because you count.

Narelle owns and runs Impact Tutoring Te Awamutu & Districts. This is Narelle's story, in her words.

I don't just care about grades - I care deeply about the mindset of our young people.

Why I believe every child can succeed

My passion for education is fuelled by a simple, unwavering belief: every child deserves the opportunity to thrive. In a world that can often feel overwhelming, I want every student who walks through our doors to recognise their own intrinsic self-worth.

I'm a firm believer in the magic that happens when a child learns in a holistic, nurturing environment that prioritises their emotional wellbeing alongside their academics. My goal is to ensure Impact Tutoring remains a sanctuary - a safe space where kids feel empowered to take risks, express themselves, and grow into happy, confident, resilient individuals.

My journey here

My own journey here has been a true labour of love. Over the past three years I've served as an administrator, junior assessor and tutor, and most recently managed our daily operations. Stepping into the role of owner feels like a natural evolution of my commitment to our families.

Having been 'on the ground' for so long, I've seen firsthand the incredible transformations that happen within these walls. I'm honoured to lead our team into this next exciting chapter - honouring Jean's legacy while dedicating myself to the bright futures of our students.

The door at 89 Market Street, Te Awamutu is a friendly one - and so is the phone. Tell Narelle what's going on, and it starts from there.
